Terms and privacy
The rules for publishing on CantoAI, and what the site does with your data.
Publishing
- Publish only material you have the right to share, including the permission of the people whose voices are recorded.
- CantoAI hosts and distributes what you publish. Each release's licence, set by the person who published it, governs how others may reuse it.
- Releases are published without review. CantoAI does not check licences, permissions or accuracy; each release is the responsibility of the person who published it.
Reporting a problem
If you believe a release infringes your rights or should not be public, write to the contact address below with its address and the reason. The release may be hidden while the report is checked, and the outcome is noted on the release page or the Timeline.
Discussion
Be civil. Do not post other people's personal data, and do not try to identify the speakers in any dataset. The administrator may lock or remove posts.
No warranty
Everything on CantoAI is provided as is, without warranty of any kind.
Privacy
- An account stores a username and a password hash. Your username is shown publicly on everything you publish or post.
- The site sets only the cookies it needs: a session cookie when you sign in, a security cookie for forms, and one that remembers your language. There are no analytics or advertising cookies.
- The server keeps access logs (IP address, time, page requested) to operate and protect the site. They are not shared with anyone.
- Pages load their fonts from Google Fonts, so your browser sends your IP address to Google when you visit.
- To correct or delete your account, write to the contact address below.
